Let’s start with Pinterest: Q1 has been steady for the platform. Pinterest reached 518M monthly active users and a 23% climb in global revenue… even if it’s seeing rising costs, too.
Pinterest saw the biggest growth in its “Rest of the World” sector, and its slowest growth in the US.
That’s not great, considering most of its revenue comes from the US…
Still, user numbers are growing everywhere else, so it’s a good platform to use if you’re fine with casting a wider, global net.
And on Amazon, ad sales for Q1 jumped 24%, partly fuelled by the decision to serve ads by default in Prime Video.
In the US alone, Prime has around 115M monthly viewers, and so far, Amazon appears confident in its ad-assisted update.
It looks like viewers aren’t turned off by ads, which suggests there’s space for you to reach an engaged audience.
