TikTok Shop’s user growth is… impressive

Guess how many sellers are now using TikTok Shop. Just guess.

Sorry, how many? Since it rolled out in 2023, TikTok Shop officially has gained 15M sellers worldwide, and 500,000 in the US alone. Whoa.

Something’s clearly working. The platform’s e-commerce structure must be appealing if so many have signed up.

And on the consumer side, it’s certainly easy for users to find and buy products through posts, LIVE streams, and the Marketplace tab.

But not just anyone can sell: TikTok blocked 2M sellers and removed 1M for failing to meet or violating policy guidelines.

TikTok removed a bunch of products, too, so there is some quality control. And that’s always a good thing.

Sounds like an opportunity to us. If you haven’t placed your products on TikTok Shop yet, it could be worth a trial run.
