⏩ Fast track.

Happy Friday.

The first day of spring lands on a Friday this year. And guess what? That’s today.

Two good things, same day. Some will call it a coincidence, but we’ll just call it the universe doing its job for once. Go outside at some point today. You’ve earned it.

But before that, grab your coffee. Today’s newsletter is worth the read.

Creators are getting Facebook incentives, you can pause Reels now, and platforms go after AI content

You know how sports teams would poach the best players from their rivals?

Facebook’s doing something similar with creators: The new Creator Fast Track program offers established creators up to $3,000/month in guaranteed pay.

They also get boosted Reels reach to lure them away from TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram. You may want to stake claim early on such partnerships, before everyone else catches on.

In other news, Instagram finally did it: One-tap pause for Reels is now live, turning pause-worthy moments into a real creative metric.

Previously, tapping the screen just muted the audio. Now, think about creating your Reels with a frame worth freezing: a bold stat, a product detail, a visual punchline.

X invites you to clean, Premium ticket required: Reply downvotes are rolling out to Premium subscribers, targeting AI spam and junk replies.

It’s part of a play to tackle slop, even if only about 1% of users qualify…

A cleaner reply environment means genuine brand engagement becomes easier to spot and harder to fake.

YouTube is also stopping the slop: A new AI survey prompts viewers to rate whether content feels AI-generated, which, based on the homepage, should keep them busy for a while.

Algorithmic suppression of AI-generated content is coming. If your video strategy leans on AI production, it’s time to be more human before the crackdown hits.

Pinterest wants you to use its AI ad tools while LinkedIn encourages creator marketing for B2B brands

No one likes a backseat driver.

Pinterest wants you to stop micromanaging your campaigns and switch to Performance+ campaigns as default.

Performance+ uses machine learning to hand off the heavy lifting of creative, targeting, and budgeting.

Advertisers who go all-in are seeing more than 10% improvements in CPC and CPA compared to traditional setups… according to Pinterest.

It also recommends A/B testing Performance+ against your current approach first. So if you’re not ready to fully commit, run the test, and let the numbers speak.

Creator economy, but make it business casual: LinkedIn now lets you partner with professional creators across content, live events, and global publishers.

And for the first time, its CTV ads are available programmatically.

82% of B2B marketers call influencer campaigns essential for ROI. 81% of B2B CMOs say video accelerates the sales cycle.

With 56% of B2B buyers relying on creators at the final purchase stage, if you’re not building creator partnerships into your strategy, the deals are getting done, just not by you.

REDDIT

How to comment on Reddit and not sound like you’re promoting stuff

You can’t show up on Reddit in your suit and tie, ready to give a professional business pitch.

The platform doesn’t just dislike ads, it actively destroys them.

The right approach? A better thinking pattern. And Ken Savage put together 10 comment frameworks proven to drive engagement without triggering the community. We’ll share a few.

1) The “been there, done that” comment: This works when someone’s struggling with a problem you’ve already solved. Lead with your mistake, then share what actually worked.

Finish with a soft brand mention. That’s optional. Reddit rewards vulnerability over authority so being relatable first makes everything else land.

2) The counterintuitive insight: The thread will often get stuck in groupthink. That’s when you move.

Acknowledge the consensus, then gently challenge it with a reason it fails and offer the smarter path you discovered. Contrarians earn respect when they come from real experience.

3) The data point drop: One specific, believable number outperforms a wall of opinion every time. Try not to post links unless someone asks.

4) The question flip: It adds value without hijacking the thread.

Answer briefly, then ask a smarter follow-up that moves the conversation forward naturally. It shows strategic thinking without preaching.

5) The lessons learned summary: This will earn you trust. List what worked, what didn’t, and land on a grounded takeaway. Balanced honesty signals you’ve actually done the reps.

Nobody trusts a perfect track record and showing failures builds credibility faster than wins.

6) The quiet authority comment: Think of this as more of a long game. No hype words or individual wins. Instead, go with calm, pattern-based observations that show deep experience.

This last one is the hardest to fake, which makes it the most valuable.

But all these tips share the same essence: if you approach Reddit as a salesman, you’ll kiss the door most of the time.

The full breakdown of all 10 frameworks is worth reading… and bookmarking. Enjoy.

DATA STORIES

How to ease the purchase decision?

Sometimes, a shopper just needs a little nudge to cross the finish line.

When it comes to closing the deal, the classic discounts still hold the most power over the human brain.

  • Money-off (e.g. $5 off $25) is the most effective promotion at 75%, closely followed by percentage off (74%).
  • Buy-one-get-one-free (73%) and personalized coupons (72%) remain heavy hitters for driving decisions.
  • Surprisingly, free shipping ranks lower at 46%, suggesting that direct price cuts are currently more persuasive than “saving” on fees.

Hard-dollar discounts provide the most immediate “dopamine hit” for shoppers.

While “free shipping” is a baseline expectation, a tangible $5 or 20% off feels like a “win” that justifies the purchase right now.

A/B test dollars off vs. percentage off. For products under $100, a percentage usually looks better; for over $100, the specific dollar amount often drives more urgency.

Discounting is an art, not a guessing game. Want weekly breakdowns of what actually moves the needle? Pro subscribers get fresh insights and margin-protecting tactics frequently.

ROUNDING UP THE STACK

AI EDUCATION: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney… So many names, but what’s actually useful for you in your work? There’s a newsletter called The Deep View that exists to sift through all the noise and get you up to speed on what’s actionable with AI products, and it’s free. E-COMMERCE: AIOs now show up on 14% of shopping searches, a 5.6x spike since November 2025. That future problem you kept deferring? Yeah, it’s arrived. If your SEO strategy still lives and dies by the blue links, it’s time for a rethink.

GOOGLE: Ads quietly retired its policies for form ads, image quality, responsive ads, and text ads on March 17th, all superseded by newer automated formats. A tidier policy library is genuinely useful, but don’t assume last year’s rules still apply, so brief your team now.

SOCIAL MEDIA: X added a Grok-powered Summarise button to its Articles feature, letting readers skip to the highlights instead of reading in full. Great for users, awkward for creators. If the platform is serious about long-form content, a built-in skip button sends a conflicting signal. Write strong hooks, because readers may only see the summary.

META: The Edits app just landed a cinematic effects bundle: Zoom, pan, shutter cuts, an Ethan Barber colour filter, plus keyframe animations and frame-by-frame trimming. For Reels creators, the gap between phone footage and polished production just got a lot narrower.

META: Human content moderators are being replaced with AI tools, starting with repetitive reviews and scam detection at scale. Framed as efficiency, it’s also a live product demo. Meta is road-testing AI moderation on its own platforms before selling the capability elsewhere.

YOUTUBE: The new Reimagine feature lets you turn a single Shorts frame into an AI-generated 8-second clip via Google’s Veo model. Although the creative barrier to entry just fell through the floor, it does feel a little like industrialised content theft, right?
