Apple doesn’t usually create new ways to get brand exposure in its ecosystem…
So this feels kind of big: For one thing, you don’t need a store location or to be a particular size anymore to “create a consistent brand and location presence” across all of Apple’s apps.
Now, any business can access Apple’s Business Connect platform and take advantage of its visual and brand assets, like displaying logos in Mail and Tap to Pay.
And starting next year, you’ll also be able to register for Business Caller ID, which shows people your name and logo on their incoming call screen.
They’re simple updates, but not bad, especially if you’re actively marketing in Apple’s ecosystem and want more control over how you appear.
Options, options: Apple is also making a few updates to Apple Pay, namely:
- Rewards redemption.
- More installment loan options.
- Support for Affirm for US users, and Monzo Flex for UK users.
- Support for Klarna in the US and the UK for both online checkout and Apple Pay.
Seems like Apple Pay Later isn’t really going away after all. It’s just getting merged with Apple Pay…
Point is, your customers are getting more purchase options, which hopefully leads to more sales and conversions for you.
Fingers crossed.
