If you’ve been advertising on Meta, you know things aren’t so easy these days.
Tracking and targeting are harder than they used to be, conversion rates have gone down, and convincing someone to fork over hard-earned cash for whatever you’re selling is as hard as it’s ever been. With that in mind, we spent nearly a hundred hours poring over the best Meta Ads we could find.
You can see our full findings and practical insights in our recent Stacked Marketer Pro report, but let’s unpack one of them right now.
The 1-2-3 Meta Ads framework
There’s a simple Meta Ads formula you can use today. We’ll call it the 1-2-3 framework.
Step one: Break your customer journey into three parts.
First, define the outcome your customers want. Then, work backwards to define two major steps they’ll have to take to get there.
Step two: Work it into your copy
For this newsletter, for example, we could write:
“Want to become a better marketer?
1: Sign up to Stacked Marketer (it’s free).
2: Get marketing news and insights hot off the presses, every weekday.
3: Become a smarter marketer with each newsletter.
Sign up today.”
Obviously a rough draft, but something like that could work.
Step 3: Run your ads (and watch them convert)
That’s it! In case you hadn’t noticed, we went a bit meta and used the 1-2-3 framework for this insight itself.
Why it works
Your product may promise a wonderful outcome, but that’s meaningless if it doesn’t feel attainable.
By breaking the path to success down into three simple steps, everything feels within reach—and your prospect may be more likely to take action.
