Earnings season has had its curtain call. What are the takeaways?
The ad market is coming back: Google and Microsoft are doing well. Google Ad revenue was up 13% and Microsoft Advertising revenue was up 12% from last year.
Meta, Snap, and Alphabet also had flourishing quarters, growing 27%, 21%, and 13% respectively.
After the bummer that was 2022, things seem to be back and better than ever.
Know what else is growing? Digital video.
It’s expanded 16% YoY, and is poised to see a higher ad share than linear TV this year.
It’s still close though. 52% of ad spend is estimated to go to digital video, with linear TV taking the remaining 48%.
Many advertisers are planning to increase their digital ad spend this year. Are you?
