There was a lot of fallout when Amazon decided to switch on ads for everyone.
But once the annoyance died down, it led to Prime Video’s ad tier hitting 130M US viewers. That’s a 115M increase from last year!
Not only are more people than ever watching Prime with ads, but 88% of Prime Video viewers have also bought from Amazon.
So naturally, Amazon is rolling out several AI-powered ad tools, including:
- AI-generated contextual ads that match what users are watching.
- Shoppable ads with live prices, reviews, and Prime shipping.
- Interactive ads that let you book appointments or subscribe from your phone.
Sounds like this could provide some seamless shopping.
