Want to make bread? Then you better give up some dough…

Blues for the views: As you probably know, Twitter dropped blue verification check marks from legacy accounts last Thursday.

On Friday the company announced that if advertisers want to run ads, they have to pay for Twitter Blue or Verified Organizations.

What that means for you: If you want to run ads, you’re going to have to pay $8 a month or $84 per year, starting… now.

If you’re already paying $1,000 per month for Verified Organizations and that flashy gold check mark, you’re covered and can continue running ads as normal.

Looks like you’ve got one more decision to make and one more task for your Monday to-do list…
