… Because ChatGPT is helping with edits: Yep, you can edit images right inside ChatGPT on both web and mobile.

There are also several new buttons inside the DALL-E GPT chat to help you get ideas and inspiration the next time you’re stuck.

Small upgrades, but useful ones.

Searches going up: Also, according to a new study by BrightEdge, Perplexity AI is attracting more and more searches and holds a lot of promise for brands in e-commerce, travel, and restaurant industries.

To give you an idea of what we mean:

  • Perplexity shows an average 5.28 web citations in search results—very nice.
  • The number of searches is growing by 39% each month.
  • Perplexity shows more travel and restaurant queries than Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE).

It’s definitely worth looking at the findings more closely if you want to take advantage of AI and SEO.

Watch out for scammers, though: There’s at least one fake law firm, staffed by AI-generated lawyers, that has been sending marketers false threats about copyright infringement.

If you get a scary email from a nonexistent organization… don’t click it.

This is going to cost you: Speaking of sketchy activities, apparently Google is considering charging users for AI-generated search results.

That doesn’t mean it will actually happen. And yet, we could totally see Google trying something like this…
