Banned in the USA?

It’s getting serious.

A looming bill in Congress could see the end of TikTok in the US.

TikTok goes the clock: In a nutshell, a legislation—which would require China’s ByteDance to sell TikTok within six months or face a ban—was approved yesterday by the US House panel.

Which might turn all the recent murmurs about the app’s ban into a reality.

But TikTok isn’t going out without a fight: The platform sent a notification to TikTokers in the US to warn them about the threat, asking them to take action.

If TikTok disappeared in the States, the knock-on effect could be pretty dramatic, wouldn’t it?

But we’ve been here before and, obviously, the platform is still standing.

So better to wait and see how it plays out first.
