New ad placements are in the works for Microsoft and Snapchat

If you’re on the hunt for new ad channels, we have two bits of news for you…

We’re doing this again, huh? Windows is testing ads inside the Start menu on Windows 11.

US users who are part of the Windows Insiders program in the Beta Channel will see the new ads under the “Recommended” section.

Microsoft will be collecting feedback on this test soon, so at the moment, there’s no launch date.

We’ll keep you posted.

While you wait, you might want to brainstorm creative ideas for Snapchat, because the platform plans to announce new ad offerings, content partnerships, and brand-audience insights on May 1.
