WhatsApp makes event planning easier

Summer’s well on the way, which means everyone’s getting a bit more social.

… Even in business: WhatsApp is making its Communities feature more accessible, allowing anyone to create events and get responses from Group members.

Group information pages will show event details, and attending members will get notifications as event dates get closer.

Also, Announcement Groups are getting replies, which means admins can see what members are saying, and even sort them into groups.

If your brand hosts webinars or even live streams, for example, these new updates could help keep members and guests on the same page.

And that’s not the end of it. WhatsApp says more updates will be dropping over the next few months.

We’ll keep you posted, of course.
