No worries: Google just announced Performance Max for Marketplaces, and you don’t need either Merchant Center or Performance Max to use it.

Simply connect your Google Ads account to the marketplace, and you can start running campaigns that send shoppers to your products.

How streamlined. This could be worth testing if you struggle to get significant website traffic.

Which marketplaces are included? That’s unclear at the moment, but more details will probably emerge soon. We’ll keep you posted.

Meanwhile, Mercado Libre—a Latin American e-commerce company—revealed an exceptional first quarter.

Profits jumped 71%, a net $344M in those three months.

The company performed particularly well in Brazil and Mexico, which suggests there’s potential for other advertisers to grow in those markets too.
