You know how Netflix releases every episode all at once? Well Pinterest did the same, only with new features.
So pop the popcorn and let’s binge…
Right on time: Pinterest published a cartload of platform updates for users and advertisers that may come in handy during the Q4 holiday season.
First up, new ad formats:
- Premier Spotlight is now available on search and home feed instead of only on search.
- Showcase ads allow your audience to preview your content by swiping through branded images.
- Quiz ads allow you to offer three questions per quiz, create immersive experiences for your followers, and personalize your ads more.
All of these formats are available in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, Spain, and a few more countries.
If they’re not in yours yet, you should gain access later this year.
Pinterest also dropped five new features for its Business Manager, including new audience sharing features and business dashboards. Nice.
But wait, there’s more: You can also take a peek at Creative Studio, where you can quickly generate lifestyle images for your products using prompts.
This useful feature will be available for testing for select US advertisers later this year.
And speaking of creativity, Pinterest also added a collage feature, allowing you to cut objects out of a pin and combine them with other cut outs to showcase your ideas.
… Those last two updates sound like an awesome way to create lifestyle product photos.
Lastly, shopping: Pinterest added direct links, in case you forgot.
It also added two more e-commerce integrations for Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Adobe Commerce native applications.
