Why is this happening? There are probably a few reasons. But one plausible theory is this: Gen Z is using Facebook Marketplace for no other reason than to shop.
And in case you weren’t aware, Facebook Marketplace is the second most popular secondhand goods platform after eBay and younger folks are using it as a business venture.
Plus, Marketplace hosts a huge range of products that you can find locally for cheap.
Like it or not, it’s a viable e-commerce channel. And if you haven’t tried it yet, now’s a good time to test it—especially if your target audience is Gen Z.
