LinkedIn and Snap introduce new ad opportunities, Instagram adds a new sticker, and X is sweeping

Social media is… a lot of things. But at least it’s never boring.

From the feed to the screen: LinkedIn now offers connect TV (CTV) ads, giving you the opportunity to include the big screen in your campaigns.

That’s… pretty awesome, especially if you’re in B2B.

If you’ve already created a video ad, you should see the option to select a CTV campaign or multichannel campaign when you log into Campaign Manager.

Also, LinkedIn apparently teamed up with Kantar and iSpot to help you accurately measure lift and audience, too. So that’s nice.

Sticky stickers: Instagram now has a Notify sticker that gives users the option to get notifications when an account posts new content or makes announcements.

That could be really useful if you’re planning a new launch, want your influencers to tap their audiences, or publish content regularly.

Let’s partner up: Snap’s new Advanced Partner Program is giving agencies the chance to collaborate with the platform in building ad and funnel solutions.

If that’s you, it might help you get more from your ads in terms of management and measurement, among other things.

Might be worth looking into if you use the platform heavily.

About those numbers: Is X seeing an all-time high in traffic… or not? It seems maybe not.

The numbers Elon Musk recently shared only account for web traffic, not app usage.

And while X doesn’t seem to be losing significant traffic, there might be more to the alleged traffic spike than Elon is admitting… like certain Semrush updates, for example.

By the way, X is actually in the process of doing a bot sweep. So if you see a dip in followers this weekend, that might be why.
