Turns out Google feels the same way about content…
Don’t delete your old content, please: A post by Google SearchLiaison just debunked the myth that Google doesn’t like outdated posts on your website.
It also included a link to the official helpful content documentation, reminding SEOs that older content doesn’t mean useless content.
And there are a few other surprises about what matters to search rankings…
Followers matter now: Yep, Google added a section to Search called “From publishers you follow” that labels search results from… well, publishers users follow in Google News, obviously.
Does this mean the more followers you have, the more attention you’ll get in the SERP?
Guess we’ll find out…
